The Lighthouse Support Network was founded with the belief that everyone should have a safe space to ask for advice and get support through life. We operate on the principle that we are all equals; what you see here, what you hear here, stays here. With a multi-channel Discord server and region-specific resource lists at the tips of your fingers, it's almost hard to believe we're peer-led. There's no other service like ours out there. Pull up a chair and stay awhile.Join Us On Discord
We have 9 topic-specific channels that you can opt in and out of at any time, along with 8 general channels. Need some mental health help? No problem, add the role, get your help, and take it off later.
Our moderator team is fully trained in crisis intervention and suicide prevention practices. We also have 2 certified crisis intervention counselors on staff and ready to go whenever you need us.
Forget generic, 50-page resource books. We've got lists tailored to your specific need- be it addictions, trauma, or something else. They're also filtered by region, to make it just that much easier to find what you need.
“Thank you so much for this Discord. Without it, I would have no support outside my doctor and family. I think it's super important to be able to discuss things that otherwise would be only accessible at NA meetings, which I can't attend because I don't like the way they are ran in my area (plus I don't want to be bumping into my kids’ teachers, neighbours, etc.). This online safe place is a huge, huge relief.”
"As a mod, I've had the privilege of seeing people who have been in a bad place of life come here for support and a safe, non judgmental place to relax. I'm lucky to be able to lend aid here; no matter who you are or where you're from, you're welcome here to give or get support. We're helping people who have been neglected by social systems to get to a better place in life."
"It's really nice to be able to communicate amongst a group of like-minded individuals free from judgment."
"This server you've created and worked incredibly hard on is what I look forward to when I wake up every day, because it brings me joy, peace, happiness and makes me feel feelings I haven't been able to feel for a very, very long time."
